I guess today I woke up bitchy, because I’ve had three confrontations and it’s only 4:40pm.
1. Library, 10am: A girl in my class who can plain and simple be described as trash with an incessant need to talk about her personal life as much as she can, was standing next to the instructor and relating (in an incredibly loud voice) how she was kicked out of her High School Library. After rambling on about fuck knows what, she concludes with, “and the lady just kept saying SHHHH SHHHH. Oh god, it’s the most annoying noise in the world.”
My response: “It’s not the MOST annoying noise.”
2. Critical Writing Class, 3:30pm: My professor was illustrating some tip for us about copy/pasting, and I joked saying, “That just seems like more work”. The professor laughed, but a girl behind me drones on and on about “no, but if you paste it like that it would just be more work”.
My response: “Don’t worry about it too much, I’ve used copy/paste before, but thank you.”
3. Elevator, 4:30pm: The elevators here are the worst ones I’ve ever seen; they take about five minutes to get to where you’re at, which therefore causes a massive conglomeration of people to wait for it. Well, I was waiting for the elevator, and, indeed, it took about ten minutes for it to arrive. When it finally did, we squished inside and people started yelling. One of the girls there was yelling like “fuck this fucking elevator, why does it take so fucking long?” (by the way, she doesn’t have tourettes, she’s just rude)
My response: “I don’t know, but why are you yelling?”
Just thought I would share, because I’d rather bother you with my personal life than to study. That said, I’m off to disappear in the city so no one will distract me.
